Anyone here who got copr, i wanted to ask something regarding update.

In confirmation portal, i had submitted in-canada declaration, photo and address. All three were in review before. Now in-canada declaration says submitted while other two are still in review. Also yesterday, i could see some changes in portal.
They have mentioned that when in-canada declaration is approved Ecopr will be uploaded while when photo and address is approved pr card will be mailed. This information was not there before.

Did anyone notice the same update w.r.t incanada declaration before receiving ecopr and how long after that did you receive ecopr?

Yes i did. My spouse is outland (India). We both received confirmation portal email. However my spouse won't be able to submit information on confirmation portal until she is in Canada. I have asked Ircc as well and they said you would get copr and your wife will receive it once she is in Canada.

For someone with dependent outland i believe i got really lucky..but i haven't received my Copr yet and also my spouse can't receive her copr until she is in canada. She doesn't have a visa and her visa application( sowp, visitor visa) is already in progress. They wont touch her application until travel restrictions are lifted. So there is no benefit of having this update . At the end we are back to same situation.

Anyone on the similar situation? I applied for my CEC PR application on March 2020. Biometrics and medicals done oct 2020. No response until April 2021. Got married April 2021 and added my outland (india) spouse into the application. Received email from ircc that they received the documents on May 2021. No response yet on my application neither request for biometrics or medical raised for spouse yet.
I called IRCC and sent 100s webforms but same response that someone is working on the file.My post graduate work permit will expire Jan 2022 and for no reason i have to apply for bridge work permit before it expires. I feel i am the only unlucky candidate with this kind of scenario.

Aor -09/09/2020 got married-feb 2021 updated ircc - march 2021.
No updates yet no BIL

Hello everyone,

Looking to see if anyone can assist with this.

I have applied for visitor status for my spouse on June 4th, 2021 on the new portal with "other-covid 19" steps. But it is July 13 and I have got no response. Please advise how to request them to speed up the process? I have already sent a web form today requesting in speeding up the process.

Note: I already have CEC-ITA from June 2021 last week and collecting my documents for submission.

Please advise if any email or message should be sent.

Hello all,

I hope someone can help me here.. I am a CEC Express entry applicant our file is in process from Aug 2020. My husband applied for open work permit meanwhile he got his work permit approved today. He works in US and has a visitors visa already.

Can he enter Canada with
- passport,
-the approval letter of work permit
-visitors visa which he already has?

or we need to apply for a new TRV for him? Please if anyone can help here would be great!
