nope, your application is frozen at AOR, no need to worry. if you happen to be CEC, even less to worry as they dont even require proof of funds for cec. you could be extra super duper safe and send them an updated pof with a new balance, but i dont think its necessary. if your balance was already higher than the 'new' requirement, dont do anything at all.

Will PPR be requested after vaccination is confirmed or they will issue COPR then ask for quarantine plan? my country is in shortage of canada approved vaccines and they are only providing vaccines when visa is confirmed. Please enlighten.. its been a cause of concern for me. @legalfalcon

PPR has nothing to do with vaccination and quarantine. You will be required required to provide proof of vaccination and quarantine when you fly to Canada.

There is no difference. All request for GCMS notes are processed pursuant to the Access to Information act. However, if you are in Canada, you can request your GCMS notes under Privacy act. The information released is the same.

Anyone who is a Canadian Citizen, PR, or a person physically in Canada can request GCMS notes for themselves or for others. Alternatively, you can also request your GCMS notes from other websites offering such service. See https://bit.ly/2VDNHQz

Hi @legalfalcon ,
We have applied for PR in FSW draw under CEC category (1 year experience in Canada). Could you tell us if it is considered as CEC or FSW?
In GCMS notes, we see TYPE as 'EE-MI1' under ministerial instructions but application category is mentioned as 'CEC'. When I checked in Web, EE-MI1 means it is for FSW. We just got this doubt as it's been almost 7 months after AOR but no status from IRCC yet. Do you think this could be the reason why our application is not processed yet. If yes, is there a way to let them know that our application need to be considered as CEC?
