He is one of the top ones. Try Adela Crossley. You must have in mind how much understanding of your country the lawyer has and if he does quite a number of appeal cases from your country.

Just had words with lawyer, he received email, unfortunately i got negative decision, he said IFA is the primary reason, will apeal

What country are you from? If you are not willing to say what area of the world and what acceptance rate do asylum claims have from your home country? You will need to verify if legal aid is paying for appeals. They weren't for a while unless they felt there was an extremely good of approval but due to decreased asylum seekers this year they may have the budget to cover more cases.

Country of origin is only a small part of the asylum case so you can't really compare your case to others unless approval rates from the country are almost 100% or you have very similar cases and IFA wasn't an issue

Law Society of BC does not provide legal aid for Appeal. Dont know about other province. Most likely, applicant will pay lawyer to Appeal

Depends on the province. Ontario had stopped funding appeals unless there was an extremely high chance of success for budget reasons and focused on making sure initial hearing were all covered but that may have changed due to the decrease in application. People should definitely determine whether they will qualify for legal aid before signing any documents with a lawyer.

I'm from Pakistan, but the groups who are behind me, operate all over the country and been established in NDP very precisely, even my lawyer had established this only point for half an hour but he didn't buy his argument, member has no issues whatsoever with my credibility

I have discussed with him, he seems pretty much optimistic as member accepts my case credible, but the only point need to be proven is IFA which actually he clarified comprehensively in his submission, I'm hopeful that IA decision will turn into my favor

All you can do is appeal. Pakistan is a country which tends to be hit or miss in terms of approval plus is such a complex country when it comes to geopolitical issues that can be regional or affect the whole country.
