Hey guys, important question here:
In the Blue Book you got, did it include all of the ongoing relationship proofs you sent for additional document request by the visa office?

OR, did the Blue Book only include the original proofs filed with the application.

Hello,

I had applied for TR to PR when I was unmarried. However, After Application and I got my ITA after this I got married.

When I got the COPR from CIC, I informed them about my marriage. Upon which, they have asked me to submit a few forms and pictures of me and my spouse to them.

I was single. So it doesnt carry my wife's name.

Similary, my wife's passport doesnt carry Spouse Name in her passport.

I am adding my wife as dependant in my application. We have got marriage certificate and PCC on the basis of our existing Passports.

Is it mandatory for my wife to have my name in her passport ?

No it is not mandatory to have spouse name in passport. However it can be used as a proof to show your relationship.

This process is ridiculous. Canada needs to work on their process because this is not right. People have been waiting for years even after approval. How pathetic. My sister in law applied for norway visa. Got it in 6.months and passport received 3 daya after her approval. No medical bs.
Why cant canada be this quick? I hate our sponsorship system

I have been living in the EU while waiting for this process to be over. EU immigration process is so EASY. EU asks for marriage certificates and passports and does not ask for proof that marriage is real and no medical needed. The longest you can wait is 6 months. Ours was completed in 2 months.

This is awesome that they started working on Spring applications! But there are still many people from 2020 and Jan 2021 whose files remain not reopened. I just wish it would be more fair.

I hope it’s okay for me to reply because I’ve been following Lisa’s case closely as we both got refused by the same VO. They had a full hearing in the beginning of March and got the notice of decision in the beginning of April. And a medical request today directly from Warsaw as I understood.
