True you never know, is your file in registery at the local office as well?

yeah . My file has been transferred for some clearances even though my bg is completed since may last year. No idea what is going on.

May or may not be a good thing. My file is in registry since March with BG in progress. All of a sudden, Today saw FP request and test window in the tracker together. Was still in registry when I got GCMS notes at the end of may. So, dont lose hope!

you should order updated notes, seems likely an officer picked up your file. I have no idea what is going on with my file. I have not lost hope , i am going to make them lose hope by ordering gcms notes every month lol

Hi All- I asked this twice before, never got any reply, thought will ask again....
Do we know anyone who recently passed security after being stuck with it under 'comprehensive security check' ?

What in the name of black hole is this comprehensive security check ?

In CIC note, their is a History section for which I have 11 white pages! Then it has few subsections as Paper File, Paper File History, Paper File Transfer, which seems nothing is removed here. These subsections show the date when application was filed in Sydney, the date it was transferred to local office, and the date it was delivered (10 days later). Any idea what those 11 pages are?

Before History section, there is the security section which shows RCMP is passed. Screening section with CSIS is removed, but I could see it in my previois note from CIC.

Do they even transfer the application to some other dept just for clearance purpose?

Anyone here whose local office is Scarborough? I met someone recently who is a September 2019 applicant from Scarborough who got the test invite this Monday!

I called the call centre agent and my experience was so bad. Like I was asking him questions about BG in progress and without even listening to me he said we don’t give any info on BG check. Total waste of time to call them and it ruined my day. Its better to wait for notes and check yourself. I understand they are busy but my problem is the attitude and no accountability. We are paying you like more than 500 dollars at least talk to your client properly. I wanted to know when my BG was started and what is pending. Same generic replies. Never calling again.
Call center agents cannot give further info other than what you already see on website. They can flag an anomaly ( for e.g. your citizenship file hasn't moved for 2 years) but that's about it . They get 100s of calls from entitled folks calling everyday about things which they cannot on elaborate or have any control on. I am sorry you feel this way but they can't really do anything about this.

Well it looks really fancy on the GCMS like (TFR Montreal CEN to Montreal citizenship) but consider it like a room with a fan and dusty files where a clerk picks up the file from the officer desk and takes it to the another room and places it on a shelf called registry until one day some officer will come and pick it up or ask for it.
