Hi everyone, my wife was recently approved for PR and we are just getting ready to pull the trigger on a flight to Toronto from China. Wondering if anyone has heard about which hotels are considered "the good ones". I've been looking around online and not coming up with much other than "don't get the cheapest ones". They all seem to have similar pricing -> about $1,200 all in, with a few outliers having lower prices -> around $900 all in for the 3 night stay. So I think i'm just going to rule those ones out.
Also, on the Government website it states: It's strongly suggested that you book your hotel as close as possible to your arrival date in Canada.
If rooms aren't available for your preferred dates, you must change your flight for a date when a government-authorized hotel is available.
Aren't those 2 sentences contradicting? It encourages you to book the hotel late, but if there are no vacancies (probably because you booked late) then you have to change your flight. Is booking a hotel for July 16th too early?
As always, thanks for any advice/opinions!
