No doubt, looking at your behavior and immaturity your application is delayed.. all relevant important data got wiped out because of your stupidity. Get a YouTube channel and cry all day don't pollute this forum with your unwanted opinion. I won't be surprised if I see you whining about your citizenship application after few years.
Just shut up and mind your own business you cant blame me for that if the whole forum got deleted. And it tells me your upbringing too I'm pretty sure your file was stuck in security related and I wish it stays there for years infact forever. Canada doesnt need anymore impatient idiots like u.

My dashboard shows that fingerprints results received in 18 August 2020, but the background verification status has not been updated to "completed" yet. It says "In Progress" I did the test on June 2021. Could the status of the background verification stay "In progress" till the fingerprints itself expires - which means I need to do fingerprints again - or IRCC does not allow this to happen?

Guys, we don't want this thread to be deleted as well. Please, let's not start this again. Please let this end right here. Thanks guys.

@Canadiann2020 @luvtrump Guys, PLEASE STOP!

There is enough stress already and fighting with each other isn't helping. We have all applied for citizenship and we are waiting and our goal is the same. Let's share information that is relevant and related to the process and not berate each other which won't serve any purpose.

Question - Have you applied for GCMS notes ? If you haven't, you should really consider ordering them.

To answer your question, your criminality clearance will expire sometime after August 18th, 2021. If this happens, you might be asked for fingerprints again, unfortunately.

RCMP does not have access to GCMS. Access to GCMS is only shared between CBSA and CIC and maybe CSIS has some level of access to it but won't release any information as such.
With RCMP, yes, you can request any/all information related to arrest, detention, or whatever interaction you had with them which had to be documented. The only information related to immigration which mounties will provide is that your fingerprints were ran on CCRTIS and that they were destroyed afterwards. The latter is confirmed if you request it.
There is a lot of information which RCMP can choose not to disclose tho as they have a lot of immunity just like CSIS. The current ATIP processing time for RCMP is about 2-4 months and they won't notify you like CBSA if they need an extension from the standard 30 days. However, you can follow up after 30 days to check status by emailing atipb@rcmp- grc.gc.ca
Gotcha. I think atip with RCMP might give some insights about my criminality check.lets see I will order it today itself. Thanks bro for the info

I did apply for GCMS, but I am wondering what the benefit from applying. My citizenship grant application is very old, and I have been asked for fingerprints two times. If IRCC asks me to do fingerprints again, that will be the third time.

I understand, that's the reason why I was asking if you have ordered notes. If you are ordering, order it from CBSA which is supposedly subject to less redactions than ordering notes from IRCC. You get the same set of notes, but with more information from CBSA according to some reports.

I would suggest order your Gcms it will help you identify where your file is stuck. Plus order notes from cbsa , csis and rcmp. Then also see your application for any mismatch of dates gaps etc. If everything looks good contact your MP.

You have written your test a couple weeks ago, I am not sure why you are getting impatient now. Hang in there and your interview/oath will come soon.

The MP won't do shit man. Politicians have zero motive or agenda to help unless it's a collective cause and it's under public eye. Lol.

Also, the MP office cannot influence the processing of an application. Period. What they can do is get your consent to seek your application status on your behalf. And then forward you the response they receive from CIC. How is that any different than receiving GCMS notes which actually details the status at the very least.

And what will the MP do? Are there really any cases of MPs helping move things along? As far as I can tell, the MPs just get a brief summary of what is in the GCMS notes for anyone who cares to get those.
