Do they ever actually contact employers to verify employment history? I've worked for my employer for 4 years, but since it's a small, fast-growing company I have had my job title changed numerous times (job duties remained the same) and honestly don't know at this point what my employer has on record for me. If they ever inquire, I can have a letter of employment signed by my employer that matches my application but if they ask my employer directly, there may be discrepancies.
I was issued a closed work permit in the past for a specific job title, and my job title was actually changed while the work permit was in effect (job duties remained the same - it was just an administrative change), so I want to avoid the hassle of having to explain the situation.
