Help in creating Express Entry Profile

Hi all ,

I have completed PGPM( Post Graduate Program in Management) From Great Lakes Institute of Management. My ECA has been completed and certified by IQAS.

Below is the details from IQAS

Comparative Levels of Achievement in Canada

This postgraduate program in Management generally refers to the completion of a university certificate with a focus in Management.

Now is the question is while creating EE Profile while filling the ECA option. Which one of the below should I select as per the comments mentioned by IQAS.

Options available while creating EE Profile

1. One year program at a university, college, trade or technical school or any other Institute

2. Two year program at a university, college, trade or technical school or any other Institute

3. Bachelors Degree Or a three or more year program at a university, college, trade or technical school or any other Institute .

4. Masters degree or professional degree needed to practice in a licensed profession.

5. Doctorate level university degree ( PhD)


Please help me in selecting the correct option according to the observation by IQAS as mentioned above while creating the EE profile !!!!

Hello, I'm in a similar situation now. I did a similar program. What option did you choose? Could you please let me know if I can choose "Two or more degrees or diplomas"

ECA still in process. But, I have done a similar 1 year technical program.

So you have an ECA for your bachelors and just waiting for tech program ECA. If you have the ECA for bachelors and get the one year equivalency for tech program, then you can select two or more.

Have you been able to apply through IQAS as it is backlogged? Review was 30+ weeks too but that may have changed.

Actually, yesterday when I tried to apply it showed daily limit reached. Today I was able to go in. But I got stuck in the middle. I had a mismatch in name between my Passport and Education documents. In the documents, my firstname and lastname are in reverse order as compared to Passport. I'm having a doubt. Is the surname in the Passport same as lastname?

Your surname is your last name/family name.

Thanks for clarifying that. All my educational and work related documents show in the first name and last name in reverse order except for my Passport. Will this create any trouble while filling EE application or in future.

Don’t think so but I really don’t know.
