Residing in Ontario, working remotely for Quebec employer

Hello,

I sent my CEC application last month but now there are few questions I have.
Quick background about me: I graduated from McGill University and have been working in Quebec with my PGWP. Since I need to reside outside of Quebec with my PR application, I am moving to Ontario by the end of this month while working remotely. However, I do not want to quit my job due to the current job market. Please note that I have been applying to jobs in Ontario but no luck so far.

Will my remote work from Ontario for the Quebec employer result in the refusal of my PR application or cause trouble during the citizenship process in the future?
Also, my employer cannot transfer me to another branch outside of Quebec so that wouldn't be an option...

It seems ok remotely as long as its canadian experience within Canada also as long as you have one year experience meeting your exact job description

Hello,

I ended up moving to ON and actually changing my employer within a week of my move. As my lawyer suggested, it is best to cut all the ties with Quebec in order to avoid possible rejection. But I also heard due to the pandemic, the office is more lenient with residing in Quebec nowadays.

No problem! I haven't received any updates on my profile yet but usually, they ask for a confirmation letter with proof documents. Thus, I am sending these documents even before they request them.

Okay I see! I'm actually planning to leave Montreal in August and then apply for EE at that time. My employer doesn't mind if I keep working remotely, that's why I wanted to check if it's fine I continue to work for that company.

Did you receive your ITA while you were in Quebec?

If you can work remotely, then yes for sure try to move out.
And yes I received my ITA when I was in Quebec. Also sent in my documents when I was still there.

Did you receive your ITA while you were in Quebec?

If you have the written consent from your employer that you can work remotely in a permanent way, you can add that as part of your LOE to explain you're not planning to return to Quebec since you don't need to.

They'll never ask you for a LOE, but if you're planning to keep working for Quebec employer later on, it's always recommendable to explain any Quebec link you have in advance before you receive a procedural fairness letter. If you receive a procedural fairness letter that means it's likely too late and the immigration officer probably doesn't believe you.
An LOE can be useful to explain anything from your application, it's not only for job offers.
