NDVO is the greatest of all. They don’t care even if the Canadian and Indian PM request for an update. You’ll have to just wait and pray that they process your file in a timely manner.

Has anyone entered Canada through flight recently and had to go through all the requirements:
- About 3 or more covid tests
- 14 days isolation/quarantine
- 3 nights at hotel

How did you do? How much did it cost? How did you do the 14 days isolation/quarantine?

The officer was not friendly but not strict either. As i have mentioned, they(IO at the port of entry) did not ask for those documents only the copr and passport and medical surveillance. Maybe because they know that the airlines already checked those things before boarding the plane, so maybe its a waste of time for them to check it again as you are not allowed to board the plane in the first place without these things. But you still have to prepare those documents that they are requiring us to provide just in case they ask as not all officers are the same. Ive read in the forum before, some were asked to show those documents, some were not.its all depend on the officer. We prepared everything that is in the website..register in arrivecan,proof of funds,negative covid results, quarantine plans, hotel etc..the airlines asked for my Landing paper as principal applicant( i am in canada, dependents outside), negative covid swab,copr passport.

If you were issued an AL with expired copr, i believe you are good to go but still need to prepare the other requirements. IRCC is issuing either AL or new copr and visa. If they give you a new coprand visa, you no longer need AL.

How was your 14 days quarantine plan?

My family's copr doesn't have such annotations as well and they were able to travel. They are under pre-march18,2020 and immediate family member of a PR. I suggest bring your original copr just in case somebody would question your copr..you can email manila office as they are pretty good in replying to our queries.

Yes, I am pre-march 18. I received a hard copy, but my counterfoil number was also updated online

Same case here. I submitted passport to VFS, Tokyo. They forwarded that to IRCC Manila office. Me & My wife Visa was issued from IRCC Manila while my daughter visa was issued from Hong Kong office.

No VFS isn't open yet.. I have 30 days to submit my passport. I'm waiting to see if VFS atleast resumes their two-way courier with the restrictions relaxing a bit in Mumbai and Delhi over the next 10 days.
Otherwise, I have to inform IRCC Delhi using a webform in case I'm unable to submit my passport.

I am also in the same situation.
My PRTD was approved and I got PPR in end of April. Since then I am waiting to book a 2-way courier.

Do you know if we can travel to any other country like Ethipia/Serbia and submit our passport in VFS there?

@Gwaine Hey. In your request letter, have they mentioned the name of the country for which they require PCC, like specifically.

As far as I know they don't mention any country. But m not sure. Applicants have to submit PCC for all countries they have lived in for atleast 6 months. Since they already took our 10 year history, so they knew already for wat countries it is required.
For me also, no country was mentioned.

Send them an email. Reply the same email that sent your PPR request( don't change the subject line) and ask them to clarify. They should respond.

I emailed them last Friday to clarify one information on my COPR and within 8 hours I received a response from them

I am also pre march and mine had the annotation stating it is a replacement of the expired pre March COPR.

Did you book the 3 night hotel stay through the hotel directly or the number provided on IRCC website? do you also have to show your other quarantine plan after leaving the hotel?

It would be great if you could just briefly list the steps from landing at the airport to hotel quarantine just to know what to expect.

Hi guys, I've a question you've probably answered 20 times but I can't find it as the thread is very long. I'm outside of Canada, got my COPR under family sponsorship outside of canada last week, via Canadian wife and Canadian kids.

So looking at the travel exemption for reuniting with family. My wife is with me now, if she flies into Canada as a citizen first, my understanding is that I'd be able to get on a plane and go over to be reunited, and activate my COPR on arrival - does that sound right?

Also, I see there are different requirements regarding whether my wife is permamently or temporarily in Canada - meaning whether I need to get pre-authorisation or not. She is returning to Canada to live there permanently (as per our family application), so the way I read it I should be able to take a photocopy of her Canada passport and our marriage certificate and say that she is in Canada (which she would be by then having flown over a few days earlier), then fly over and do my COPR activation.

Is this correct, has anyone done it this way? The thing I can't discover is whether there is a requirement for me to present WITH my sponsor to activate the COPR but I can't see anything that says that.. we will both have gone to canada to live as per our application, just on different flights.

Really appreciate the help, I've reached out to Canada immigration local office but no response yet.
