How long has it been since you got the medical. It is fairly normal for different family members to receive medical requests on different days. If it has been over 2 weeks then there is likely an issue. If not just be patient the medical should arrive in the next few days.
thanks canuck78!

just to clarify,he is the only one applying. I am Canadian citizen (cannot sponsor him because he was inadmissible) and so is our son. So his AIP letter from May 18 says he has to do medicals but the medical forms were not attached to the letter (?) and they did not arrive later either...We mentioned this when we sent Niagara BRO additional docs like police certificates. I hope they remember to send him medicals.

Cool I’m very happy for you the baby needs her/his dad
I can’t login in the other forum they block me because I was feeding too much information about H&c and PRRA
I’m glad your approved
One thing I noticed that without a lawyer many H&c cases got approved . If u are smart enough u can do it ur self. Most lawyers ripped off their clients

yes I noticed that too - perhaps it looks more touching to see how a family fights on their own with whatever they have, rather than seeing a logo of a huge law firm (costing a fortune) on your first page.

This was our third HC submission so I kind of became a pro in it and we decided to give it a try ourselves. Our former lawyer said she does not recommend to apply again for HC so we did it on our own. In any case, it was us who assembled all three packages almost entirely. Most work falls on your shoulders anyway.
He was scheduled for deportation this month so that explains super-fast processing. If he left, he would likely never be able to come back. CBSA officers were very kind and compassionate to our case, granting administrative deferral.

Wow it’s been a long journey for you I’m glad it’s over from now on everything gonna be all right that’s encouragement for other people too don’t give up If anything meant to be it will be
You have to tell your husband this baby is a blessing Only reason he got his PR because of the baby Otherwise he will be shipped to his country based on the story you told me along time ago I would say you are a blessing to him and the baby otherwise he never had a chance to stay here

Yes, very true - best interest of child was his determining factor but you also have to fall on a compassionate agent. In his 2nd HC we already had a child but it was still refused by Montreal BRO. 3rd time we translated everything from French to English and it went to a different office/agent and approved.

Yes, don't give up even if everybody tells you it's over. It was pretty heart breaking reading through the GCMS notes after the 2nd refusal where agent wrote that she sees no evidence that our 6-month old son needs his father to remain in Canada. But I said to myself "Am I going to let one person decide my future ? I am not". Don't let anyone demoralize you.

congrats!!! This nightmare will be over for you soon. Yes GCMS notes was super helpful because they never notified my partner of refusal. They just transferred refusal letter to CBsA directly for his deportation. However, in GCMS notes we read that it was refused and all the reasons for refusal. So we rushed to submit third HC and we explicitly listed the new evidence that addressed the agent's refusal points.
Although his lawyer was upset and kept repeating we should not communicate with Immigration without consulting her, eventually it was our proactive approach that saved him. If we were sitting just waiting to be contacted, we would never have had a chance to try again.
