I am worried about my GIC account wire transfer.. as per my passport my name is given name - ABCD EFGH surname - IJKL MNOP (4names with spaces)
Scotiabank account names without spaces between first names and last names (AbcdEfgh IjklMnop)
Will they reject my wire transfer due to this reason .. please reply.

If you already made wire transfer 3~5 days -> call them or chat online with them to check if your money arrive safely.
If you didn't -> call them or chat online with them to update your name same as passport and your bank account then make wire transfer.

Hii, I am in similar situation. I am about to send my GIC to Scotiabank . I already talked to bank and they said that their system don't allow space in first name. They said that they can use hyphen ( - ) to separate the name. Can you guide that how you did it properly??? Is it necessary to match the name as passport? or they accept the wire transfer with different name like no space name??

Hi cheemak, my GIC was accepted. The name should be exactly like ur passport, with or without space is fine. Scotio doesn't take spaces between (if u have)two first names and two last names when u register . How I sent was with spaces ABCD EFGH IJKL MNOP

Thanks for the information. As Scotiabank application don't allow space in first name, So I have wrote my first AbcdEfgh and passport shows Abcd Efgh. So it will be fine to accept wire transfer?? Secondly, My name will without space on GIC document, will there any issue with IRCC with different name on passport and GIC?? ( just no space in first name, rest is same as pp )

No issues.. I got visa.
Make sure u transfer from ur own account wherever you are, and your name and other details like address should be same as registered with GIC.. be sure how much you should send too.. because once you do and if they reject, u will get some amount loss
