Can someone who received their citizenship certificate in the last few weeks answer these for me please

1. How much time did it take for you to receive the Certificate after Oath?

2. I had my oath on Tuesday and will be moving within a week. I was wondering if Canada post would forward the certificate as a part of their mail forwarding program. For me to better understand this, I need to know if

a) does the certificate come in a regular mail as a package. Because Canada post does not forward packages.

b) if there is a do not forward mentioned on the envelope.

It would be great if someone can answer these questions from their experience.

I think as it is the last stage of the process, most of patrons tend to visit less the forums here.

During the ceremony, I have told the agent about my new address in the next 11 days moving to a new address.

I think Canada Post forwarding should do the job for you so I wouldn't worry about this for now.

I just had the ceremony. I thought it would take longer than two weeks but from other posts here it looks like it's just a matter of days.

I don't have access to my new address until June 1st which is not what I was hoping for.

Are they traceable which they provide the tracking number by email?

I read somewhere here it tends to be picked up from Canada post office close by the address, is that the case? Thanks all

They send it via regular mail. So you can expect it in your mailbox in 2-4 weeks, if not longer or shorter.

Mine was an extreme outlier.. needed for school to update their information and record, so it was mailed via Purolator which I got in barely 2 days.
