In the application I submitted I wrote a letter explaining to them in spousal visa application that the agent was the one that fucked me up not my fault. This is clear as day - you received a 5 year ban. Your spousal sponsorship application will be refused. Any application you make to enter Canada will be refused until the ban expires in 2025.
Your ban is 100% YOUR fault as you are responsible for your application not your representative. Your agent has messed things up for you big time!
The agency is wrong. The misrepresentation ban applies to your spousal sponsorship application. You are inadmissible to Canada for 5 years. It sounds like the agency isn't very experienced.
Writing a letter does not address the issue. You would need to get the misrepresentation ban removed in order to move forward with a spousal sponsorship application now (you would need to get the misrepresentation ban removed before submitting the spousal sponsorship application). If you wanted to try to remove the misrepresentation ban, the you should have hired an immigration lawyer in Canada to assist you. You can still do that now - however it's generally difficult to get these bans removed. From IRCC's perspective, it doesn't matter who was responsible. They hold you as the applicant responsible.
If you are still waiting for a medical request, then you are still in the early stages of the application. You should be expecting a letter from IRCC in the next few months indicating they intend to refuse your application since you are an individual who is inadmissible to Canada.

Right. All that does is confirm your spouse qualifies to sponsor you. This is the very first step and is an early stage of the application. This part has nothing to do with you.
Your part of the application hasn't been evaluated yet. When IRCC gets to that, they will contact you about the inadmissibility.

u might pass eligibility but during the admissibility check they will find out that u are inadmissible and refuse your application. that might even happen before officer review the documents.

In that case you will be able to reapply for spousal sponsorship in 2024. You will need to wait until a full five years has passed before you reapply (down to the date / month).

You will be eligible to apply in 2024….you can submit any application for now but it will be waste of time and wont get through when they reach to review eligibility. Your ban ends 2024…. Plus once lifted, VO will scrutinize every piece of document as you have record of misrepresentation..
