Waiting for biometrics to open very very soon such that I can attend classes in September.

Or will it be called complete only when the biometrics and medicals is done?

That's sad news for me then.

I submitted my profile before 15th May, but could not give biometrics since VFS is closed in India. I wish and pray to get my permit before Aug 6.

Canada in India Twitter handle tweet about this matter on yesterday they clearly said that only complete applications will get their decision before 6th august. I also submit my application before 15th may without biometrics according to current situation in india I assume that VAC will not open before july therefore,it is quite difficult to attend the September intake

I submitted mine on 23rd April and was not able to provide biometrics because of the vac closure. It is true that they update your medical because I have passed it on 07/05/2021. Other than that there is no update still. Detailed timeline is in my signature.

As you can see above, my profile's review of eligibility changed somehow. happened on someday between 29th May 2021 - 09th May 2021(I never logged in days between that, Never received any mail and the status was just "Application something"(don't remember the exact one) in gc key when logged in today). I never got to do my biometrics btw due to the vac closure. idk what is happening. If someone is with same situation please reply here.

I applied on 6th May, medical updated on 4th June, the same day they started reviewing eligibility. There are many who have similar situation ( medical updated and review started ) they are not sending any email though. Just updating the gc key account. Like earlier it was waiting for your action, now it just shows submitted. And the biometric message too changed.

People believe because cases go down, they'll open up. That's not how it works, it doesn't depend on India's lockdown or not. They're concerned about the variant entering Canada. However, I may be wrong, but I strongly believe, we'll only see it opening after at least another 50 days.
