Study permit refusal unfounded, please advice :(

This is true. But their job is to fairly analyze facts and not ride on emotions. I get it they always complain how COVID has impacted them and how they are the only ones in entire world who cant manage their job. If that is the case then just shut it off until they feel like working again. Why waste candidates time and make them go through hell for this.

i think the problem is the number of application is is hugely increasing every year. i dont think that they have that high established system to check such volumes so they go fast through applications. hence the rejection rate rise past 4 years. more people want to apply for study permit for pr. i am not defending them. it just makes sense seeing this huge number rises every year. + some ircc offices have 2 or 3 visa officers and process applications from many countries

People need to understand you can't made a bad application good just by adding more documents. The VOs are highly trained and they have minimum entry criteria to look for when assessing an application (e.g. school is approved DLI, chosen program is in line with past academics etc) . If your application fails the minimum litmus test, chances of approval starts to go down, no matter how much docs you submitted to patch it up.

IRCC came up with the SDS stream to reduce the amount of unnecessary documentation that the VO has to trawl through in order to increase efficiency.

See their program is attractive and most people do it because at some point they want to migrate to Canada. My problem is not rejection, if I don't fit in then by all means refuse it. But I cant digest the fact that it is not fair. Everything is so subjective with very little importance on facts. Every problem can be solved if they want to, if volume goes up then they should find ways & means to solve it. What they do instead is introduce more new programs when they are not even capable to handle existing ones. In my case, they held my file for 4 months and did a review in 6 days and rejected (I know from GCMS time stamps). The reasons totally don't add up. I had shown more than enough liquid funds with 10K GIC, 1 year tuition fees, scholarships, my property papers I own back home. Still they refused based on financial situation.

With all the imperfections in the Canadian processing system, the number of applications skyrockets every year. I wonder why... In this forum alone, there are tons of complaints on delays and unfair refusals. But applicants still keep on applying.

Exactly my case, if you have some conditions and I prove I am qualified then accept it and don’t overthink and be subjective..

I know how frustrating this can be. Don't look at the refusal reason on the letter as they almost mean nothing & are mostly just random stuff VO puts in. Order GCMS notes and see the comments. Yes, they can be unfounded most of the time as due to heavy demand they are not checking each & every file you submit. They are riding on emotion at the moment and very little logic.

GCMS notes can take upto a month and worst case 90 days. Don't ask me why they take that long just to send you a digital copy of the file which is already in the system. They currently blame everything on COVID so must be that ?

Maybe they go back to your documents and perfectly reframe the notes which consume time.

On the same boat. I have applied for GCMS notes. Let's wait and see what crap Mr.Officer has mentioned in it.
Canada needs to stop making use of students' money for their cash revenue. All other countries ask for money after your visa approval or to prove that you have enough money to study. Only Canada takes your money in prior to visa approval and puts students in entire loos with a refusal.

Problem as in the course completion was 25th sept that is the graduation day so will i be rejected for points in express entry

My gpa was too less and had to repeat almost 6 subjects to graduate

i would rather taking them again and graduate. switching at the end of your program will rise concerns to VO and that will effect ur pgwp application
