thank you for reply, my immigration lawer said the the board service officer would sync my status to IRCC unpon my arrival, so no need take special action...so if i need update my address to IRCC, should I call them or send the webform?

You can do with, call or use a webform. webforms are easier and you don't have to be on the phone for hours before talking to someone at IRCC.

Also with the webform, you get a written confirmation.

Hi everyone! I’m inland EE. My AOR was June 05th. My application has been stuck at background check since November 5th. I called IRCC once and they couldn’t give me any more info beside what is already shown in my profile. Is there any body in similar situation as mine? I’m getting really nervous here. My medical exam already expired but they didn’t request a new one from me yet.

My medical is also expired. AOR - 3rd June. CEC inland. Everything passed. Can anyone tell how long it took for there medical to extend it? Thank you in advance

I am original from Vietnam and spent 3 years in South Korea before coming to Canada. I don’t know whether the fact that I have been in 2 countries makes the background check or not. If yes, how long will it take? If anyone in similar situation, please share with me. Thanks

I'm not exactly in your situation, but I don't know which one is worse. Knowing you stuck at background check or (like mine) stuck for six months on final approval after everything passed. I can say that I worked in several countries and lived in several places. I hope you get your security clearance soon!

Thanks! I hope you get yours soon. I just ordered GCMS notes to check the progressing of my security check from Canadian Border Agency. I’ll update if I can get anything good out of it.

My spouse medical is expired and no information on extension or re-medical. No idea when will officer wake up and my file will move. Check my status in signature. Hope we get COPR soon.

Bad state of affairs. Mine is May 16 2020 and security not started. My medical will expire 3 days. I’m beginning to hate the date 16. Seen 2 people with AOR June 16, 1 person with AOR Oct 16 still waiting

mine took 3 months to extend. Mine expired in January and they extended in April

Yeah mine took forever too. I am from South Korea, studied both in Canada and Australia and now working in Canada. I just got my ecopr today.

Finally received my eCOPR today!

Here is my timeline:

CEC Inland
single, no dependent
VO: Ottawa (GCMS notes)
Secondary: I think it's Calgary because I got my eCOPR from Calgary

June 5, 2020: AOR
July 23rd, 2020: Medical passed
July 23rd, 2020: request additional document (about family information)
July 24th, 2020: additional document submitted
Oct 15th, 2020: biometric completed and exempt

Jan, 2021: medical exam expired
Apr 10, 2021: sent email to my MP
Apr 12, 2021: MP's assistant replied with IRCC Authorization consent form in the morning and on the same day in the afternoon the reply was such: medical reassessment granted and extended on Apr 1st, 2021, but criminality still in progress with security not started
Apr 27th, 2021: medical passed
May 12th, 2021: Client Portal email from CIC Calgary
May 13th, 2021: New credentials for PR Confirmation Portal email from CIC Calgary
May 13th, 2021: address and photo submitted
May 19th, 2021: eCOPR from CIC Calgary
