I didn't know there was an online application.
This is what I see in Apply for citizenship: How to apply that you need to be randomly selected.
However, I see on Apply for Canadian citizenship online that I am eligible for online application. Only tried searching for this once I came here to the tracker.

A new online citizenship application (e-app) is now available for some randomly selected applicants.

Who can apply online now
At this time, you can only apply online if

• you’re randomly selected
• you’re eligible to apply for Canadian citizenship
• you have a valid email address
• you’re between 18 to 54 years of age when you submit your online application
• you’re applying for yourself only (not with your family)
• you do not have a representative
• in your physical presence calculation, you do not include time spent outside Canada as a
  • Crown servant (opens in a new tab) or,
  • family member of a Crown servant

Hello Everyone,

I am approaching time where i can apply for citizenship. I tried filling the application form and facing errors (Red Block against the date section) in following fields:

1- Question 9 - "TO" Date
2- Question 10 - All "FROM" and "TO" Dates
3- Question 11 - All "TO" Dates
4- Question 14 - Passport "ISSUE" and "EXPIRY" Dates

Anyone else faced such issues while filling application in pdf format on PC and how to deal with this ?

I have also seen that in the document checklist, its not mentioned to submit scanned copies of all pages of Passport. I heard, people submitting them before. Is that something changed recently, anyone has any idea about it ?

Do we need to submit copies of all pages with stamps or just follow the Document Checklist.

This is nothing new. This is exactly what CIC customer care executive will say when you call them- Exact same words. I know because I have called 3 times before I decided to apply online. When you ask HOW will I receive a direct invitation (as NO one - no one in December received any direct invitiation) - the answer they gave is you can open the link and IF the eligibility link is visible to you, then you are eligible. I have the Agent's Code also to ensure that he did not give me any incorrect information, but I will not share his agent code here on public forum.

I applied in May but as i said, i called up CIC before making my decision. You can call them to validate what I am saying.. Do not believe me just because I am saying so
