Hope everyone is doing well
I got COPR yesterday
My timeline was ITA 21st Jan
AOR 4th Feb
MEP 1 Mar
BIL 1 Mar
CIC called me May 17 to verify my personal details.
COPR May 17, 2021
Congrats!
For a while. it seemed as if people that were getting COPR quickly were only people who had previously given biometrics in another application,
but as this isn't the case for you, this is promising for the rest of us :)

Congrats Do you know your VO?
Hi Buddy,

Our situations are pretty similar. See my signature.
Do you know which office is mainly responsible for processing our application? Syden or Montreal? I hope it's Syden as I heard Montreal is very slow. Not sure how fast Syden is.

Hey :)
I have no idea, unfortunately, which office is doing the heavy work, primary or secondary :/ But I agree with you, it would be better for us if it's Sydney!

Hi @mstefan Hope you are well. Did you receive your second GCMS? Please let me know
Not yet. I'm expecting them by the middle of next week... I Will post as soon as I receive them.

No, it's just the status that changes to "Application updated" in your account. There's no email for GUs.

Quick question for you all:

One of the companies for which I've claimed points in Canadian experience is moving.
So the address from my letter of experience will soon not be relevant anymore. I've seen from some people's GCMS that the officers also compare the address when they evaluate the letter of experience.
I have no idea if my eligibility has already been reviewed (If it was, I guess the address won't be a problem). I'll know next week when my GCMS arrives.

Do you think I should just inform IRCC of the change? Or even ask the company for a new letter with the new address?

Thanks!

I think you should wait for your GCMS first, as you might be getting it in few days, and if you see if its still not reviewed you should send a webform just incase, its always better to be upfront with them.

Sure, thanks.
So, if my eligibility has not been reviewed yet when I receive my GCMS, you think that informing them by raising a webform would be enough? No need to send them a new letter?

If you are not still currently working with the same company then a new letter is not required, if you are still working with the same company then its better to attach some sort of proof maybe a new paystub, something that will have the new address on it.

Ok, thanks :)
I'm still working for the same corporation, but another company.
So technically, I'm not working there anymore :)

When I got my GCMS notes, there was a section from the first officer that passed my eligibility, stating that they did a web based search to confirm employer details matched with my reference letter. If they all do this, then I would suggest sending a web form explaining the situation and attaching new proof....You have nothing to lose by sending it right? and it's much better to be safe than sorry!
