Blank pages in GMC notes(S12.1 laballed)

Hi, my medical expired, yet havent received any guidance on re-med or extension.

Hi, I was wondering if you received any medical extensions (usually not reflected in the portal but had to call to find out)? Do you have updates on the eligibility? Thanks!

I didnt call to find out. I just ordered GMC notes and will let you know once I received it.

Hi I just called. No updates at all! Eligibility in process, medical expired and wont be extended or requested for re-med until the case goes in the final stage. So right now it just stays expired

I think the portal doesn't necessarily show the most up-to-date information. In my portal it also doesn't show medical extension. Does the agent say that medical will only be extended/requested at the very end? Thanks

Thanks for your reply. I think sometime some agents are not willing to provide a lot of information, so they might not tell you exactly whether your medical was at least sent for reassessment. You could consider calling them again and see if another agent could tell you more about your medical extension.

OMG thats so not fair. I waited 40 mins on the call. Anyways I applied GMC notes and I will wait for that

Hi,

Im a CEC applicant applied in Feb 2020, its almost 1 year and my current status is:
Eligibility: Reviewed Required
Medical: Pass
Security: Not started

Recently I ordered GMC notes and found almost 10+ blank pages under HISTORY section stated
"The following pages have been redacted pursuit of s.12(1) of the privacy act". I search privacy act code and guessed it could be because i applied EE in Quebec with an explanation letter. Now I have left Quebec for 6 months and should affect my application.

Could someone with similar experience give me some indications on this S12.(1) code? Would it be a lot more time for me to get things done?

I have the same thing. History 50 pages blank under S12.(1). Just R10 done single applicant.

You can only request the GCMS notes under the Privacy Act for individuals who are entitled to request the GCMS notes under section 12, i.e.

• every individual who is a Canadian citizen; or
• a permanent resident;
• or physically present in Canada.

If your file has an individual who is not physically in Canada, their information will be redacted under s12.

The thing is- I am in Canada and I am only single applicant applying with no dependants. This is why I find it extremely weird why it was redacted for me.
Do you have any other thoughts why it could be redacted? @legalfalcon and @caipsnotes please shed some light because I completely lost and did all the possible research but no idea why they blanked everything out for 50 pages
