My passport application is complete but just waiting for details of my guarantor to be able to submit application by end of this week. I am slow here, but that's fine

I got a strange email from IRCC asking me to use ecas to track my application I guess it’s 2yrs too late.. title is “”Follow the progress of your citizenship grant application / Suivez le progrès de votre demande d’attribution de la citoyenneté””

super strange.. wondering if they are going to close my case soon lol

Still worth checking! I found my oath date there, for early June, even if I have not received the official invitation yet.

I have the same question , my wife’s citizenship ceremony is “not started” while everything else is complete. Will the ceremony becomes “in progress” then give you a date , or just give you date directly from “not started”?

Yeah, my ceremony has the “in progress” status and I have a date.

Quick question - do they need a 'wet' (physical) signature for the guarantor/references or will an e-signature suffice?

Yeah, my ceremony has the “in progress” status and I have a date.

So the oath “in progress” will guarantee a date then

Your app is in the "Review" bucket, there are ~90K apps in this bucket. Once review is completed, yours will move to Test and Interview bucket which as 140K aps in queue.

I got the new ecas tracker email from IRCC. I have registered and can see my Oath invite which was scheduled for May 27th.

Application Sent: October 3rd, 2019
Application Received: October 7th, 2019
In-process: January 27th, 2020
Test invite: Feb 24th, 2021
Test passed: Feb 27th, 2021
Interview Date: April 27th, 2021
Decision made: April 28th, ,2021
Oath Invite: Not yet
Oath : May 27th, 2021 (According to new tracker)
