You cannot have multiple status. You can only have one status at a time. Confirm with IRCC.Thank you for your response, however I have not formally begin studies (deferred admission) but does have a study permit, hence I am still maintaining my status as a worker since my work permit is still valid.
It does not matter whether your work permit is valid. If you applied for a study visa, effective from the date you were issued a study permit, your status is that of a student. If you are not studying, then you will have to revert back to your work status if you are eligible.
You cannot have more then one status and keep going back and forth to different status as and when you like.
