What does that mean? We sent our application in March end which was received in April first week.. So it will not be considered.
Can you please indicate where it says that hccp is closed again. I could not find anything on teh site.

The quota is full for child care applicants it will reopen janury 2022 again.

Oh really, so what would happen to applications which were already being sent like in March or April..
Also does it says on cic website somewhere that quota is full..

Home Child Care Provider Pilot
We’ve received at least 2,750 applications under the Home Child Care Provider pilot. This means

• the pilot is closed to new applications for 2021
• we’ll return any other applications we receive and refund the fees

The pilot will reopen to new applications on January 1, 2022. You can also look into other options for caregivers in Canada. Caregivers who are already in Canada could also have the opportunity to apply for permanent residence through the recently announced temporary residence to permanent residence pathway for essential work

My application was received October 29, 2020. Then they posted on November 2 last year that they closed the HCCP. I guess I was the last one that they received last year. I got my temporary file number this March 2021. So don’t worry, your application made it.

oh thanks for the updates. So did you received any Notification letter indicating quota was closed last year.

Also to be eligible in 2021, did you sent a separate application or they considered that one only.

I called every month since November to ask them if I got included because it was just days after they closed the HCCP. They kept on telling me “we still cannot find your application so we are not sure yet if you got included. Please call after a month”. I prayed and prayed, did nothing and took the risk of just waiting. So after 5 months I got my answer of temporary number.

I didn’t get any email from them, I saw the post in ircc website just like what they recently post that it is closed for 2021. That’s all. They cannot even find my application for 5 months because it’s not yet in the system. All i know is the courier sent it there and they took it.

oh ok, as on website it says that they will send notification letter to people whose application were received after quota closes..
So I was wondering..

But good I am hoping they accept it as I am sponsoring my sister here..
