Montreal office,Decision made today,24th Feb received test invitation,passed test 8th March.

1. We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on January 15, 2020.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on March 13, 2020.
3. We started processing your application on September 8, 2020.

it seems CIC montreal office has just started to work. But are they even processing 2019 applicants ?

As I know,if background is simple,only a few travel history,application process is always faster than others,we haven’t leave Canada after get permanent resident,our permanent resident application was pretty fast.

Montreal office is very slow.

As I know,if background is simple,only a few travel history,application process is always faster than others,we haven’t leave Canada after get permanent resident,our permanent resident application was pretty fast.

you have a point , i read somewhere 2 things if you have UAE residence visa and secondly, if you stayed outside for quite a while, your file takes longer cic adds extra verification step .

Montreal and Ottawa both are slow.
