Hi there,
Let me ask again: is your file under comprehensive security screening? I read my notes and it was written that I and my spouse are under comprehensive security screening since Sep 2020. It may take years. My buddy is under comprehensive security screening since Aug 2019 (he's a March 2018 applicant, I'm a May 2018 applicant).
I am trying to collect some statistics why we have been waiting so long.

How can we know whether it is comprehensive security screening?

One can request records from CBSA and CSIS relating to security screening. However, the only way to know for sure if an application is under security screening is through the CBSA notes, as most CBSA notes do not redact security related activities. The CBSA notes will show the status on page# 2 just like the GCMS notes. Additionally, it will also show notes as to when security screening started and if screening has concluded it will also show the date when it was completed.

After 33 months of wait i finally have gotten my golden Email. I had to do an immigration lawyer paid him alot of money. He sent a demand letter to Calgary office yesterday and they replied saying we will give out his PR with in a week and i got my PR today. Thank God ! Finally... Good luck to every one. Immigration lawyer really helped alot because i was tired of emailing IRCC through web forum or direct email.
Could you provide more details what you have done, please? Did you go to the federal court, and the court satisfied you claim and issued so-called "writ of mandamus"? Could you share the lawyer contacts via a private message, please?

Hello everyone,

I received my GCMS notes a few days ago, and I need someone's help figuring out if my eligibility is conclusively passed by an officer.
I was told by an expert member that even though the assessments section on page 2 stated that my eligibility is passed, I still need a comment like this example below. Otherwise, my Eligibility has likely not been passed by an officer as yet. I did some research, and I just realized that officers' comments are different between PNP paper-based GCMS notes and EE GCMS notes. Now I'm so confused and worried about my situation.

Example:
Label: General
Office: CPC- Ottawa
Text: ***Officer Review*** File Reviewed. Eligibility passed

According to the G notes, my application status as follows:

Assessments
Eligibility: passed
Security: not started
HIRV:
Criminality: Passed
Org Crime:
Medical: Passed - Expired
Misrepresentation:
Info Sharing: Complete
Other Reqs:
Final:

Paper File:
Office: CIO
#: EP********
Location: PS

FYI:
AR 31 December 2018
AOR 15 March 2019
MR: 6 September 2019
MP: October 2019
ADR: 13 January 2020 (schedule A)
PAL: 27 January 2020

What do you think? Your answers are really appreciated.

Thank you in advance.

What in the notes should tell you about "eligibility is conclusively passed by an officer"? What is the mark or sign?

I've been told that I have to see the last 3-5 pages of my GCMS notes, read on the notes to see if my eligibility is passed by an analyst or conclusively passed by an officer. I need a comment like this example below.

Example:
Label: General
Office: CPC- Ottawa
Text: ***Officer Review*** File Reviewed. Eligibility passed

Have you ordered the GCMS notes before? Have you already passed the eligibility? If so, can you please share the officer's notes?

I guess this is not what you're looking for. I suspect that the record you're asking for appears only when the decision has been made, but not in the middle of the process, IMO.

Thank you @Evgeni

My eligibility assessment looks like yours. Is that mean I've passed eligibility?
Besides, the assessments section on page 2 stated the following:
Eligibility: passed
Security: not started
HIRV:
Criminality: Passed
Org Crime:
Medical: Passed - Expired
Misrepresentation:
Info Sharing: Complete

My medical expired in September 2020. As I haven't been requested for a re-medical exam yet, I'm thinking of going with an upfront medical. Hoping that could speed up the process.
It's so frustrating when I see the security check not started yet. I'm AR 31 December 2018, security check had to be done so long ago.

It won't speed up the process at all. Your medical can be reviewed and extended. Don't waste your money. I passed medical two years ago, then it had been extended.
