It won't speed up the process at all. Your medical can be reviewed and extended. Don't waste your money. I passed medical two years ago, then it had been extended.

I am in the same situation like you. BCPNP I submitted my application 31/8. Then they asked me to submit more documentation in 2019. No update since then.

I noticed a ghost update in my account today. It is 2nd or 3rd GH so far. I am not sure which one because I didn't pay attention to GUs for some time until I learnt about it.
Background check hasn't been changed and still is "We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information".
According to description on the forum, it may be the 3rd GU. Anyway, it was a good sign for me, i.e. the application is being processed.

It's definitely a good sign. It means something is happening for sure. Background check message can never be changed to anything else

It can stay like this forever. They do not bother to change it. But I believe in those ghost updates. It means your file has been reviewed by someone

Same here! My AOR is Nov 2018 and I haven't heard back from the local office since the last ADR request in 2019 Oct. Really hope that we could all get approved this summer.

My application: BC PNP AOR Nov 2018 and still waiting for the final decision. I just received a new version of my GCMS notes and found that the CRIMINALITY was created in 2021 May and the Due Date is 2021 June. Is it a good sign?

My guess is your previous criminality check expired and IRCC scheduled another criminality check. According to my notes criminality check is valid for 2 years. To sum up, I don't think this is a significant progress for you application.

I would like to know if your app was sent to CBSA for security screening? Have you ever got notes from CBSA?

Thanks for your reply. Our criminality check is valid for 1 year as shown on all notes. As for the security screening, it was never Started.
