Just received an email for an interview for April 28th, 2021. Can some tell me my doubts with regard to the interview?

I received the email from CIT-SCARBOROUGH@cic.gc.ca. Is this correct?

An attachment with a consent form for using Microsoft teams for my application. How do I send it?

My timeline is shown in the signature.

For me, i printed the Microsoft consent form check the i agree box and signature ( your name and date) then i scanned it and send it to that email address DNCIT..........

And yes, thats correct email address from the processing office

So the strangest (and most frustrating) thing has happened this eve. My wife received a fresh FP request although fingerprints were sent back in February and her status changed to DM earlier this month. It still shows as DM on her ECAS. Is this normal? We were expecting movement on the oath this week based on a call with the contact centre so this is most unexpected. Thoughts from the group on next steps? Should I call again or email the immigration officer who interviewed us?

Probably a mistake, which appeared on some Facebook posts too. I would both call the call center and email the immigration officer who interviewed you.

Sent my second FP on March 25 and it doesn’t show on my file yet. RCMP mailed it April 7. Is it normal to take that long? Any suggestions please?

Yes it does. It takes about 2 (or even 3) weeks for IRCC to confirm receipt of fingerprints and update to the file *after mail out date given by RCMP*.

Since your mail out is 7 April, it is almost time for IRCC to have an update for you. When did you contact IRCC? Email IRCC Vancouver team and they will reply back very quickly despite they deal with hundreds of such requests a day.

Probably a mistake, which appeared on some Facebook posts too. I would both call the call center and email the immigration officer who interviewed you.

Spoke to the call centre this morning, they said another 30 days while they “seek clarification” on this new fingerprint request email. They confirmed fingerprints were received so most likely this email was sent in error. Still does not sound well for our timelines and oath. So frustrating and absolutely disappointing turn of events! I also sent an email to the Vancouver office seeking clarification. Sigh!

Yes. Exactly! They are the only quickest to reply within whole IRCC network. Best IRCC Team !

I think you are into end of 4th week since DM (31 March DM? Right?) You may send email by tomorrow if you don't hear today...or to be on safe side follow up on Monday as you would be well beyond 4 week since DM.
