Hello Friends - I sponsored my parents as part of the 2019 intake process and received the intake and sponsorship confirmation letters by Feb 27, 2020. However, my dad, who is the applicant did not receive the letters requesting him and my mother for biometrics and medical. The ECAS status shows the instructions for medical were sent out on March 02, 2020. I have a sinking feeling that my Dad inadvertently deleted both those emails way back in March itself. I was under the impression that the delay is Covid-19 related, and didn't check the ECAS sooner. While IRCC has extended the deadline for completion of pending formalities by the applicants to 90 days, I still want to get those letters again and see if I can get their medical and biometrics done, if possible. Can anyone tell me what I could do next to request new letters? Note that I have already raised a Web Form asking for letters to be resent to my dad's email. I am also trying to link my online account with the application, but that seems to be a challenge and may not display information prior to the day when the link is established. Any inputs will be appreciated.

Nothing to do but wait for the Webform response. Biometric offices are closed, as are most Panel Physician offices, so probably can't do either right now anyways.
Thanks for your reply. They are in Canada right now, visiting me. Some PP offices might still be open but biometric centres are definitely shut right now. But I want the letters so that I have them as the restrictions are lifted of course. About GCKey, I am not able to link the account yet to the application. Will keep trying. Even if I do, I was under the impression that I can’t see any updates or documents issued before the accounts are linked. Is that not accurate?
Thats a good questing. However, I cannot answer it. I’m hoping someone else with first hand experience can chime in. Try linking you application and see what’s available as for as correspondences.
I heard back from the immigration authorities through the webform reply. They basically sent the details to the wrong account. They have asked me to fill out another webform to update the email address (which is weird because I don't think that requires to be updated). Nonetheless, I sent another webform requesting them to verify and update my email address, if needed, to the correct one. I also linked my the application only. They also acknowledged that the Covid-19 related delays are understandable. Thanks again for all your inputs.

If you received it by email, check your trash folder in your email account. Most don't delete the original for 30 days or so. (If it's not on your computer, you may be able to access through webmail interface, depending on your email provider)
