did they ask you for meds or you did an upfront one? Also when did your copr expire? and which VO ?
Frustrating as ive already started planning my move, the last step would be to resign from work but i cannot do that just yet.
Hi @Aliasoufan @$R27 @sh221b @idhar_chicha @BillyWescott
I was given a remedical request on 8th March 2021 and re-did on 9th March. Passed it on 13 march. No update till 5th april [sent so many emails, webforms, raised technical issues etc]
Finally on 5th April, my GC Key account showed that I have passed my remedical and status changed from Action Required to Submitted.
But today, I receive this email [Pre 18th March COPR and NDVO]
Action required by April 29, 2021: Confirm that you still want to immigrate to Canada
April 19, 2021Your permanent resident (PR) visa has expired. If you are still interested in coming to Canada to become a permanent resident, your action is required immediately.
If you do not respond as requested in this letter, your application for permanent residence will remain closed and you will need to re-apply if you wish to immigrate to Canada in the future.
Application number: ******
Dear permanent residence applicant:
You are receiving this email because our records at Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) indicate that:
|
However, on an exceptional basis in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, IRCC has made various efforts to assist clients who, due to the pandemic, were not able to use their CoPRs before they expired:
|
Once we have sent you the forms, you will have 30 days to do your medical, advise us by email that it has been done, and provide any requested documents. Please note that the results of your new medical examination will be valid for 12 months. If you and your family members (if applicable) are still interested in immigrating to Canada and you would like us to reopen and reassess your application, please reply to this email at ****** before April 29, 2021 and answer the questions using the response letter template below.
When you reply, DO NOT change the subject line of the e-mail. If you change the subject line, it may take longer to review your reply.
After responding, wait for further instructions from us before redoing your medical examination. We will send you the necessary medical form(s).
Important: Do not do an up-front medical examination. Completing a new medical examination before IRCC asks you to will delay processing, and may lead to you spending more money to do a new one later on.
Your Application:
If you confirm that you are still interested in immigrating to Canada and that you would like your application to be re-assessed, IRCC will do the following on a one-time exceptional basis:Since your CoPR(s) expired without being used, you do not currently have a valid PR visa and your application for permanent residence is closed.
