Applied Mar 2019 from downtown Toronto, AOR May 2019, in process Jun 2019, file transferred to Scarborough office July 2019. Called IRCC in Feb 2020 and was told everything is done and just in line for the test. Mar 2020 lockdown. Called IRCC again in winter 2020 - was told the same thing, everything looks good and done, just wait for the test. Requested GCMS notes twice (one in May 2020, and one Mar 2021). The notes are identical. The last update that ran on my file was Jan 2020. Not sure what is going on and what's the holdback... :(
I have a similar timeline and I got the test on 24th March 2021. I guess your test invitation is very near... just keep fingers crossed and start preparing for the test as it was super tough for me.

Oh yea? I guess you are waiting for the oath now? Thanks for the kind words :) I guess I can start to read that booklet IRCC sent me in June 2019 lol. I fully understand how the pandemic situation made IRCC reorganize their priority when comes to work (with citizenship grant being less urgent)... but this endless waiting with almost arbitrary order of which applications get processed/earlier applicants got stuck for no apparent reasons is quite consuming...

When did you do your FP? It shouldn't take long from what I read. I never got FP request...I've been living in Canada since 2004 so I'm assuming they have all my data

It's possible that some of the clearances are still pending at the moment

Beside that two updates we saw early this week... there were no movement ever since :/ did they halt oath invitations again o_O
This week Scarborough is busy doing back to back ceremonies so probability of new invites is lower. There might be some more invites on Friday but definitely I am pinning hopes on the next week.

My 2 months mark since interview will complete in the last week of April, and I will be sending an email to the officer. I have already drafted email, and I just need to press the button, reminder is also set for date and time when I will be pressing the button. Nevertheless, I am hoping that I will not have to send that email.

The thing is : Once I send that follow up email, I will not have any other recourse left and practically I will be out of *follow up options*. I am not too sure if I should follow up too soon - though 2 months would have passed - but again I am on the mark and should follow up.

There was someone from Ontario (unsure exact location) posted this morning, they completed interview over the phone, and the officer said that oath invitations can take up to 3 months to come. If that is true I guess the latest we could hear something is by June or even early July.

However I doubt that would be the case. It looks like 4 weeks is around the standard time to get oath invitations.

3 months after DM? Man that’s quite a long time , so in my wife’s case it’s gonna be June ....

I don’t know how the latest spike in covid cases will impact the virtual oath process , it might be possible that they completely concentrate their effort in transforming to the online process and things will speed up from now on
