How long does it take for security to pass? Any idea anyone?

On an average as per the security screening manual it takes 110 days for an average file. However, for inland applicants they only go through the record check.

It completely depends on your luck. I have been waiting for more than 2 years 4 months (AOR - 2 Dec 2018

It completely depends on your luck. I have been waiting for 2 years 4 months (AOR 2 Dec 2018) for a decision. from GCMS note I know that my eligibility has been approved, but security check is ongoing forever. I hope you are a lucky person.

It's just about 10 PPR in Oct and Nov. Also, it's a mix of streams: CEC, PNP, and FSW. The few ones that received are from Nigeria. For a strange reason applicants from Africa especially Nigeria is issued with COPR so quickly. I believe you cannot draw a conclusion with this. Just saying.

I was just sharing the link to immitracker, I wasn't part of the earlier conversation. And yes, definitely I agree no conclusion can be drawn from that.

I had one too with BC in Progress "No email so far".

Logged in, saw profile updated, clicked check application found BC as IP, and still so.
No any email so far. However i believe it is what so called IP1 which is commonly refered as R10 check ! Don't know probably eligibility started

@legalfalcon i have a US visa in my passport..I haven't in past and have no intention to travel under this visa for personal reasons..i haven't mentioned anything about this visa in LOE..will there be any problem for this? was it necessary to explain it in LOE?
