Most security checks could take as quick as few days or weeks after being initiated by the IRCC officer or could take a year or so (enhanced security screening). Question is when will the IRCC officer can see your app, pass your eligibility and start your security check. Your eligibility needs to be marked as passed conclusively by an IRCC officer before security can start.

Good to see that slowly some of us are getting approval. Mine is AOR Oct 27th. They asked for ADR on 20th March and I immediately submitted on 21st March. But so far nor progress.

AOR: Oct 27th
MEP & Biometric pulled: Dec 9th
ADR: Mar 20th (IMM 5669 E for spouse)
ADR submitted : Mar 21st
Criminality: In Progress
Security: Not Started
Eligibility: Recommended Pass (Not sure since different agents giving different info)

God knows when will there be any movement on the file.

Approved - 1st April

Thank you so much for this positive response. But I was wondering as I called IRCC today and he said your application requires further deeper attention so it has been transferred Montreal local office, so I was just bit confused. Although I live in BC.

Yes, I still have eligible requirements to be reviewed. Only medical was updated in my application.

I just login to my portal. It showed application updated and soon after it changed to submitted. Is this called a ghost update?
