Application received just means that the envelope made it to the processing centre. AOR means they went through your application and confirmed it is complete. At this point, you know your application won't be returned to you to be redone.
Usually there is a lag of weeks to months between the two. In my case, it was 5 months.

If they gave you $85 back that's your biometric fee being returned so you won't get a biometric letter. Did you provide biometrics in the last 10 years? If so you're exempt from giving them again. You'll still have to do medical.

Who gets email updates on applications like AOR1 etc.? I mean will the PA or sponsor or the representative of the file?

That is what seems strange to him I have never given biometrics.
I do not understand why they gave me the money back.
Keep trying different combinations of information, the system is very picky about the info you enter. You got your AOR with file and UCI number so you are fine. Keep trying.

Sept 16th still no AOR, I might call this week to get a temporary file number. I'm starting to worry if my application arrived there ok. The post office said it was delivered but I still worry.
Hi. How you know that your VO is new delhi. Was it mentioned in sponsor approval letter or did u call ircc to find out. Mine SA letter didnt have VO name.

I'm a principal applicant from India and applied visa under Family sponsorship. My application was submitted on 8th September 2020 and currently my medical and biometric got completed on 1st of march 2021. The application status is in submitted state. My question is how long will it take to process the application for passport pickup currently? By which month I can expect my application will be finalized? I can see in the portal currently they are finalizing the application for the month June 2019.
