LVO - NDVO

Parents in Canada. Received no phone call from IRCC but the letter saying that to submit the passports.

Please update line #393

Thanks for an update @laxsun , A quick question again , Does that mean I shouldn't expect anything in 2021 or it can be within coming few months..Thanks

You never know when they will start processing in full speed. If that happens your case may finalize in a couple of months.

Oh great! Thank you for your response. Do you think it's going to be the same for my brother? Can he land as the extended family member?

There is little confusion for other dependents but if airlines permit him to board a flight, CBSA will allow entry here.
You can search some posts made in this topics in this thread.

Hello @laxsun @robertp @YULIA-2016 + other pros:

Please advise if there's any update from London office cases? Its been 22 months and my parents file is "in process" - no medical or police certificate request so far. Any idea what to expect in terms of timeline?

Thanks in advance!

It appears London is quite for some time. Did you get any message from there about receipt of your application?

Hi any one, we are struck up from 5 Jun,2020 after medical in Dec,2019. Any update from CPC- Mississauga.

Hi Everyone,
I hope everyone's application is sailing smoothly.
My father got the immigration Visa last year in August but he passed away before he could move to Canada.
Now my question is that how do I report this to IRCC, I mean an email address where I can report his death.
And would RPRF be refunded in this case?

Help in this regard will be appreciated.
Good luck to everyone.

Brought my parents finally. Landed at Pearson March 31. Make sure you have C test results with you to be able to board the flight. I didn’t book hotel cause heard people spending hours on the phone and no one ask me to show prebooked confirmation. When arrived and crossed the border first went to immigration section for the landing process. The officer did confirm the address to where to send PR cards and mention that now it takes 3-4 months to get it. Then we proceeded to luggage carousel to collect our belongings, next it was station where the lady dialed the number for me to book a hotel, they answered right away, gave me Marriott, 3 nights for 3 ppl 1900 total. Next step was the C test station and then to the shuttle. Each hotel has their own minibus to transport you. No waiting in the hotel, we received room within 10 minutes and schedule of meals with the menu. You need to choose your preferences for 3 days and leave at the front desk during registrations. Meals were on time, portions are decent.
would be happy to answer questions, guys, if any
wish everyone to get approval on your cases ASAP

Same regrettably, Medical expired mid-January and no word. We are the parents and are still in the UK which I have realised is no help. Visa office is CPC-Mississauga.

After receiving remedical and pre arrival letter last week, received request for Biometric Fees today.
Interesting ..... because I already paid the Biometric fee along with the application but today, I paid again and uploaded the receipt.

Can you please call to IRCC once before sending passports. Many posted here that Ottawa returned passports without stamping visa.
What was the DM2 date.

Damn, I had already sent the passports yesterday. For sure I will give the call to IRCC today

Hi @laxsun
Even I am not sure on whether they will stamp the passport as it does not make any sense when the parents are in Canada. I am hoping they would send the COPR in the returned mail though
