I had won appeal on 24 july 2020 and received additional documents request on Sep15th with no medical request after that nothing ..any idea how long it going to take

Do they have experience with cases similar to your case. We did not do our homework, our lawyer came to us as a referral....big mistake. She never had a case in front of IAD and she was so nervous. Weeks before our case she wasn't prepared, didn't have a plan. I kept researching similar cases on Canlii and sending them to her. I basically prepared my own case. So, please do as my research as you can on whoever you choose as your lawyer. In the end we paid her over $7000 for submitting paperwork to IAD as she did nothing during the hearing. If your case is simple just get an Immigration Consultant....much cheaper.

Yes, I agree. We won our hearing and our consultant fought tooth and nail during the hearing. He did an amazing job. He is located in Waterloo and I would recommend him without a doubt. Our fee was not nearly as high as that.

Won appeal Aug. 07/2020. Didn't even received the documents req. yet. Nothing from IRCC.

Hello guys. I have send our appeal on December 6th 2020 and we have not received anything. Not even Acknowledgement letter or bluebook. Does it take longer than 120 days?

How can one check for lawyer on Canill? I need to do my homework on mine before she takes my money for nothing.

Today we received the letter of the official decision from the member in allowing the appeal and to finish processing our application. When should we expect to hear any more updates on our file?

Who knows....I received notice January 6th and still our file hasn't been reopened. I've seen others who received decision last year and still nothing.
