Even some people reported receiving AORs. Great work to reduce the back log.I'm really surprised that they are working today. Maybe they are really trying to solve the backlog to the best possible.
Citizenship tests completed today.
Unofficial results: Passed (both self and wife)
awaiting next steps.
any clues? How much time is it taking between test and DM (or additional documentation requests or interviews)?
Congratulations!
Its anyone's guess. Perhaps about 2 to 4 weeks for interview and 1 week for DM and then 4 to 6 weeks for Oath invite. 15 days for certificate and 15 days for passport.
Only Scarborough office has been working these days - sending Oath invites too -but others are very very slow.
What's your processing office?
Goodluck.
Email.Do we get an email with the Oath invitation letter or Is it mailed to us?
I don't think so - the language they've used doesn't appear to apply to 2019 applicants and protects them against delays related to COVID:https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/news/notices/service-fee-act-remissions-policy-2021.html
Shouldn't we all have been covered by this, as far as i know mostly 2019 applicants were all delayed the right of citizenship and i see it's almost 1.5 to 2 yrs for a person to become citizens
"In such cases, remissions (partial refunds) will be issued to complete applications received on or after April 1, 2021,"https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/news/notices/service-fee-act-remissions-policy-2021.html
