Hi @amit123nik ! I think you got your medical exam on 22 Jan 2021 right? Could you tell me after how many days of your medical exam, was your IRCC Account updated with the note that you have passed your medicals?

The thing is, I did my medicals on 9 March 2021, and I have confirmed from the Director of CDC, that my medicals were updated and sent to IRCC on 13 March 2021. They have even sent me the medical report which shows that I have passed.

However, my IRCC account still shows - Action Required - and that I am required to do my medicals (i.e. remedicals)

NDVO
Hi

I had actually done my exam itself on the 19th Jan and the update on my profile was on 22nd.

After I had passed the medical exam even my status was action required, with a request letter in my documents..the request was with the 3 pointers (about quarantine and travel plans)

In your case I honestly don't know why it hasn't updated yet with the medicals. Probably someone else can shine some light on this ?

If I had to guess there's nothing to worry about , probably they're just swamped with work. In the last a couple of months they have started processing multiple applications .

Good luck buddy

URGENT HELP REQUIRED

Hello Friends,
We got our COPR before 18th March 2020. Our COPR got expired in July 2020 and I thought I will raise RTT in Jan 2021 when COVID situation will improve. However, after that CIC mentioned on website that we should not contact them.
Till now there is no mail from CIC for 'Ready to Travel' or anything till now.
Can you guys please help what should we do now?
We are kind of waiting for now for 2 3 months and dont know exactly what to do and life is standing still.
Are CIC sending mails in ascending order as per dates of COPR expiry or any other order.
Is there any email Id where I can write to them explaining the situation?
Please help.

***LONG POST ALERT***

Me and my spouse successfully landed in Toronto on 19-Feb-2021!!

Airline: Air India
Route: Hyderabad-Delhi-Toronto

All we need is:
Flight Tickets
Negative RT-PCR Covid Report
Boarding pass
Expired CoPR(s) and Travel Authorization letter
Declaration form which will be provided in the Flight before landing in Canada
ArriveCAN registration number.
Extra copies of old photos that were used for expired CoPR(s).
Last but not least, we need to go through a free Covid test conducted by Switch Health at the Destination Airport.

Use the below link in order to register:

https://www.switchhealth.ca/en/travel/pearson/

give your email ID and Textnow (Canadian) phone number, then it will send OTP to the given number which we won't receive, then there is an option of "Send it to the email id instead" click on that and you will be able to complete the registration and follow that same tactic for OTP whenever you login to switch health!!

Once you land and connect to the Airport Wifi, after letting your loved ones know that you have landed safely, immediately start registering to switchhealth online which would save a lot of time.

NO 3-DAY Mandatory Hotel Quarantine required as on 19-Feb-2021.

My cousin booked an Uber XL and we reached our Airbnb Quarantine accommodation (on Day-3 Quarantine right now).

All the very best folks!!!
Oh Congrats on you! Happy for you!

BTW, I think you lucky you no need to hotel stop other, because seems the day you post (21 Feb 21) is day they start enforce hotel 3 day stay... so I think this money making scheme on us is still there but you just lucky you did not have to:
https://www.theguardian.pe.ca/news/canada/about-26000-travellers-arriving-in-canada-were-exempt-from-mandatory-quarantine-hotel-570646/

I am only share this info to remind everyone to double check if they need to stop in hotel and feed $2000 to lazy IRCC (probably they make comission off this) as it seems still forceful requirement.

From

https://www.canada.ca/en/public-health/services/diseases/2019-novel-coronavirus-infection/latest-travel-health-advice/mandatory-hotel-stay-air-travellers.html

it says

As of February 21, 2021, at 11:59 pm ET, travellers, unless exempted, will also be required to:

  • reserve a government-authorized hotel for 3 nights prior to departure to Canada

even for transit we need to quarantine?
I think should be quarantine on last stop. Not in transit, no? Because you need to quarantine 14 days at transit place and then 14 days in destination? How can this happen?

Guys, is the IRCC processing more cases these days? I'm seeing more people receiving ALs or "Ready to Travel" emails.

Thank you very much for your input, and I am sorry to know that you have experienced the same thing. In your case, what did they finally do? They have asked you to do re-meds?

It's a very frustrating situation and they surely make you bear the burden of their mistakes or careless behaviors. :(
Yes, I believe primary school rejects work at IRCC processing case. While admit you they mess up, they should tell you how they fix it as oppose to 'oops, I did it again to another paying applicant'.

Is it? I actually felt the opposite. Cuz not seeing any1 getting AL, except just one guy above ( Congrats by d way ).

But am basing my judgement by seeing the posts here in the forum. Where did you see that they are processing more cases ?

Hi,
COPR issued Nov 2020, expired March 2021.
My medical validity was the same time.

Since i knew travel at this time is not possible at all I requested for an extension prior to expiry, and also informed that am willing to do my medical again, if required.

within a few days,I received the request to submit my medicals, And now waiting.

whats the validity of your medicals?
thank you so much for your detailed reply! apreciate. my copr issued Nov 2020 and expired march2021. I have no idea if my medicals have expired or not, I did get validity extension for medicals before ppr but don't know for how long ( I think march2021 like my copr?). I should call ircc, I also sent a webform before my copr expired and got a generic response(I didn't ask for copr extension though). Do you think I still can ask for extension now that my copr has expired or is it too late?
BTW I also got that email from sue day.

Guys I forgot to mention, I did receive an Acknowledgment of Receipt email from IRCC after I responded to “Do you still want to immigrate” email.
After how many days did you receive the acknowledgement of receipt email?

I replied the same day to that email and I have not received anything yet.

Almost at the same time I sent the reply. It was an automated email.
Could you share the contents of the acknowledgment email?

Also, which email address did you receive the "Do you still want to immigrate?" email from? I received it from the same email we were supposed to send our response to.
