Thanks guys. Im hoping we all get to PPR very soon.
My timeline:
Jan 20th 2020 app received
Sent to Ankara and Medical early March
Then we waited all the way to Jan 5th 2021 and got the in process status change
Again nothing until March 9th we finally got the biometrics and they also asked for one additional document.
My wife did her biometrics after 2 weeks on march 23 and i sent them the additional document the same day.
And today April 1st we got decision made status change and pre arrival letter.
Also im the sponsor from Ontario and PA is in Iran.
We never applied for TRV and PA did not live anywhere else for longer than 6 months

They said we can only help you if you or your wife are Turkish citizens. Which we are not.
So the ambassador of Canada to Turkey is Jamal Khokhar and he seems to be super active on twitter. I think we should start tagging him in posts talking about the "nightmare in Canadian Embassy in Ankara" and strong topics like that, we can start shedding light on this horrible situation.
I am going to do it myself as well as get a few friends to join in. I feel like if we get enough people from this forum to do this, it will help shed light on this issue.

Yes lets hope so, but honestly covid 19 is definitely not a good excuse for them to stop working since those officers are not in contact with random people and can literally do most of the work online but anyways did you get a 'decision made' status change on ecas acc yet?
My guess is that they send passport requests in groups so no matter how the timelines look very different to one another i believe they gather groups of applicants and then start sending out PPRs. The current batch includes the ones who got 'in process' status update on Jan 4/5th of 2021
I know man it sucks but you shouldn't worry too much as some ppl dont even get the letter and suddenly get DM and PPR over a couple of days. If you asked multiple times and they did not find anything missing with ur case then it could just be in the final check stage. Order gcms notes thats the best way to find if theres anything they are stuck with. Mine was biometrics but the messed up thing is they also thought i havent paid the fee yet and they also thought my wife should take the medical test again but then they corrected that and as soon as biometrics and the additional document was sent we got the DM in just a week. So dig in and if u dont find anything then just wait a few more weeks. I know how hard it is believe me but dont make it worse on urself. This will end soon or later and we all get to be with our loved ones again.
