Yes I waited until I got my PR. We did it in Turkey, i had to stay there for two weeks. We got married and we had certificate same day.

We got married in a third country and then I came back and applied for sponsorship, she got approval a year after and came right away and got her PR in airport upon arrival. While she’s waiting for sponsorship approval she can apply to visitor visa but you need to prepare a good file for that...

My advice to everyone: don’t listen to ircc call center agents! They give false info most of the time and you can’t get the same agent again when something goes wrong! the best thing is the web form and make them reply with an email and you can use that email in future if something went wrong...

That means the first one did not go through, maybe you talked while doing the exam or maybe something suspicious happened, and it also could be a technical issue prevented them from getting your results. Just take it easy and go for the next one if doesn’t say test completed ✅. good luck
