Actually I used the new form with the barcodes. My app was delivered on February 9th. Applications delivered on 15th are receiving AOR these days. That’s what has made me worried. The good thing that gives my a little bit of relief is that I mailed my app via signature service. I also have the picture of receiver’s signature. So, they can’t say we’ve not received it.

My wife initially applied on July 2020 with signature service and they still said application not delivered. (Even though we have the proof of delivery with signature from Canada Post)
So she had to apply again online in February.
So having signature doesn’t mean anything with IRCC.
There is still hope your application will show up soon and you will receive AOR.

If you applied by mail, then expect to receive AOR with file number after 2 months

Hello there all, hope you all guys are doing great .. i have a question, i applied on 08,Feb 2021, and got AOR on 31, Mar 2021.. so i checked my online status, i noticed that IRCC made a mistake on my address .. my current home address is correct BUT under the current mailing address they put my “back home” address i dont know why .. so what u guys think do i call them and make a correction? Or do i use the webform or try online? Because while i m doing it online it is asking me my home address and moving date again..

Don’t worry too much, mine got delivered feb 05 and some feb 04 are all still waiting AOR couple of end of January got the AOR yesterday

I was checking the tracker list and noticed that we’ve had 13 AORs for February so far. 10 of them belong to the family applications. I don’t think it’s a coincidence. I believe they process family applications faster at least for sending AORs.

Maybe that is going to be become the trend as most of the single applicants are applying online these days. Online applicants have not received AORs, but if you check the December 2020 online applications forum, you will noticed that once online applicants receive AORs the process move faster than those that received AORs from paper applications. December 2020 online applicants have received online test invites already and some of them have received an Test interview invitation and just waiting for a decision to be made, the process is faster for online applications.

or by going to your online ECAS citizenship status page and changing through there.
