It is so sad to read what couples here received their refusal after so many years of wait. I don't know how the visa office in Accra base their decision with regard to the genuineness of the marriage. Long wait is so stressful and after you only got a refusal. Its not worth it.

It has been 5 months since refusal. Still not a word. No notes even tho they have been requested 2x. No decision although we were told we get a paper hearing with decision in 30 days. Nobody can tell me anything.
I feel sorry for what your are going through. I pray God give you direction on all of this.

I called IAD and a really nice agent informed me that my file was sent to CBSA. He gave me the CBSA officer phone number. I called her and she informed me that she received my file from IAD. She processed their part (not sure what they do after appeal is won) then she forward my file to CPC-M. She told me that they usually send the file via Courier service but now they send it via Canada Post due to changes at CPC-M mailroom.
Can you share the CBSA phone number?

Thanks for replying! I called the IAD this morning and they advised me to email CBSA which I’ve now done, as well as sent a webform inquiry. Hopefully one of these will result in getting some information
I guess I was fortunate....the gentleman just gave me the number. Maybe they were told to stop....too many people calling CBSA.

I just sent another letter to my MP...just begging. I don't know if I can wait another year without losing my mind.
I feel exactly the same. How do we contact our MP? Just find out who it is according to my address and email a plea for help? I feel stupid asking but that’s another thing this process has caused, brain fog and confusion.

Look up your MP by address/postal code and call, write or visit the MP's constituency office.
