Sometimes I regret applying online and should’ve opted to do the paper application. There was a positive outcome for the first few applicants but the rest are left like a limbo just like you said. I was thinking of just applying by paper and just retract my online application but I’m afraid it might just mess up with my application. :confused:

I’m in the same boat as you, I wish I applied by paper too. And I’ve considered submitting a second application by paper, but we’ve already waited this long we might as well wait it out.

But hey if it’s any consolation, there’s a chance we’ll get test invite, take the oath, and become citizens faster than others who applied on paper around the same time as and/or before us.

Today I get interview invitation. Dec. 10 2020 online applicant; AOR: Feb 26 2021; online test:March 15 2021; FP request:March 23 2021; interview invitation: March 26 2021

Congrats !!! Did you send ur FP already or interview invite is independent of receipt of FPs on IRCC end ?

Test Invitation Feb 24th 2021(Test Activation period March 1st-22nd 2021)
Test taken: 1st March 2021

No correspondence after that.

2. Received AOR today i.e. March 29th, 2021
Looks like they are sending out AORs for the rest of the December applicants. Good luck everyone!

That's good news that atleast there is some progress for online applicants. Hope they will bring both the types of applications to same speed soon.
