Processing time for ICT work permit

Hi All,

I had submitted ICT WP without upfront medical exam. I have given the biometrics 3 days back. How long does it take to get the medical exam instruction letter

Thanks..I checked here but it says 7 weeks...Is there quicker processing in case of GSS [2 weeks] ..so wanted to check personal experiences from other folks.

Around 2 weeks post biometrics.

Hello Vijay - Yes, I have heard that they will request for passport even though you have visitor visa. They will just review the passport and return it back. Did you receive the passport back ?

My company is applying for ICT WP for me and TRV (without SOWP) for my wife. Since visitor visa processing time is much longer than WP, just wanted to know if both will get approved at the same time or the TRV will get delayed ?

WP will likely be approved sooner.

Both will get processed simultaneously as your wife is added as a family member in your application

I still didn’t got the BIL letter. When can I expect any movement on my application? Hope it will take 2 weeks once I give the biometrics.

Also, my wife is currently working (here in India). Will she and my daughter gets the visa along with me? Or will it be delayed for them?

Ideally the processing time starts after you submit the biometrics. Please check with your company attorneys why you have not yet received BIL, it should not take so much time.

Hi ,You should get the BIL immediately after submitting the application. I got it in 3 hours time. You should check with the attorney.

Yeah I applied from India. It has been 10 days since I gave the biometric and 20 days since the application was submitted. Nothing has moved on

Both will get processed simultaneously as your wife is added as a family member in your application

They will get processed simultaneously but ICT is likely to get a response much earlier.

There is no dependent visa. Your wife should be applying for an OWP and hour child should be applying for a TRV. Some companies seem to incorrectly apply for TRVs for spouses. Every visa/permit has different processing times so you will all have different processing times.
