I applied from India on March 5th 2021 without a medical exam. Today i was requested for a medical exam. Looks like things started moving for those in India.

You cannot proceed with medical exam now, you need to wait for IRCC to ask for it. I am also is the same boat. I applied for ICT WP on Mar5th 2021 without medical exam. Biometrics on 15th Mar 2021. After that no updates till date.
