Change it where? On what?hello everyone i was wondering if we can change our job title according to job duties and noc ? My job title is manager but my roles and responsibilities match supervisor. Any thoughts folks.

Actually I’m applying for pnp and my pay slips say that I’m manager but my job duties are relevant to supervisor. So in job offer form should i put manager or supervisor as 80% job duties match supervisorChange it where? On what?

Can you please share your opinion on this?
A friend's duties fall under NOC 6211 RETAIL SALES SUPERVISOR but his title is CUSTOMER SERVICE SUPERVISOR.
I have heard that title does not matter but only duties matter. But just thinking if IRCC would think why the title is CUSTOMER SERVICE SUPERVISOR (because this TITLE is that of NOC 6314).
Thank you very muchAs per IRCC:
The NO is evaluated based on the above and not the job title. A company call give a title of a "Ninja" to an employee, or anything else, but what matters is what job duties are being done by the employee.
- performed the actions described in the lead statement for the occupation as set out in the occupational description of the NOC [R75(2)(b)]; and
- performed a substantial number of the main duties, including all of the essential duties, of the occupation as set out in the occupational description of the NOC [R75(2)(c)].
Yes, you can change your NOC post ITA.@legalfalcon
Can one also change the NOC code from 2173 to 2172 if an ITA was received on the basis of 2173 and later found that the correct noc is 2172.
Thank you so much!Yes, you can change your NOC post ITA.
Is there a need to explain in an explanation letter about change in NOC CODE?Yes, you can change your NOC post ITA.
It is not required as your application will be processed based on the NOC you entered. However, if you want, you can briefly mention it in the LoE.Is there a need to explain in an explanation letter about change in NOC CODE?
