One can contact IRCC ATIP general inbox and they can give an update e.g.
Thank you for contacting the Access to Information and Privacy Office.
The following responses correspond to the numbers provided in your previous email.
- We apologize for the delay in receiving your requested information. Your request has been reviewed and the records will be released to you shortly.
- According to our records, your request was completed on xxxx. The response has been emailed to you the same day.
- etc.. etc..
Or one can reach out to the non-clerical staff who can be more helpful in some situations, e.g.
