Your name if you are applying for yourselfi was filling gcms consent form and want to know whose name is to be filled in place of designated representative information as my frnd is going to order gcms notes on behalf of me.
No if you get married after you submit your application your score will not be recalculated. If the family composition changes after the e-APR has been submitted, the family member added is not subject to eligibility assessment. However, the family member will have to be assessed for medical, criminal and security.Hello @legalfalcon I hope you are well! I need your advice. My AOR is Dec 2019 (FSW-O), All the process (Security, criminality, eligibility) has completed and only final decision is pending on my file. I am planning to get married in the next couple of months. If I get married and add my spouse to my current Application, will my score be recalculated? I understand adding spouse may increase processing time, apart from that, will there be any consequences?
the "first stage approval" is for family / spousal sponsorship application. In the first stage the person who is sponsoring their eligibility is marked as passed, i.e. they are eligible to sponsor, and then in second stage the person being sponsored they have to go other medicals, criminality, security etc.Dear @legalfalcon, would you mind if I ask a question: what is "first stage approval" of the Express Entry eAPR? I am applying for a 2nd master's program in Ontario and have heard that if my eAPR completes "first stage approval" then I might be qualified for the domestic graduate tuition rate.
Thank you for your answer, much appreciate! In this case, can EE FSW applicants have any kind of “approval in principles” so that we can qualify for the in-state tuition rate?the "first stage approval" is for family / spousal sponsorship application. @legalfalcon can you please help here if you have any idea about it. Thanks!Hi,
Can anyone please guide me.
I received my aor in dec’2019 and till now there has been no progress since. I asked the updates via webform but they gave the usual reply.
I am currently working as an IT professional but I am getting another better job offer from some other organisation. If i change my job now, will it create any issue in my application? Even if there’s any movement in application i can’t travel because i am independent candidate and have no blood relatives in canada.
Can any experienced person please guide me, if i go ahead with the job change what will be the case?
thanks.
Did you claim points for arranged offer of employment?@legalfalcon can you please help here if you have any idea about it. Thanks!
No. However, one your application is approved, and you become a PR, your university should refund the fee or the difference of the same academic year.Thank you for your answer, much appreciate! No my points were added for the current one which is now 6+ years (it was 4+ when applied). The other offer I have not accepted yet.Did you claim points for arranged offer of employment?
If you did not claim 50 points for offer of employment, you can change your job. However, if you claimed points for your current job, then just inform IRCC that you are no longer working for the employer listed in your work experience, so that IRCC is aware. No my points were added for the current one which is now 6+ years (it was 4+ when applied).
