how do you know that your medical is passed ??
Does it show medical pass when you open your full application status ??
If yes then i guess that you are fine and nothing to worry or else you can call them or raise webform...

Could you please help me with this? I’m about to apply online for an open work permit but I don’t really know if I need a medical exam or not. I’m currently in Canada and I previously applied for a bridging open work permit on the paper based. According to the checklist for paper based Medical exam is not included. The processing time for work permit is only 60 days right now and I’m wondering if this includes medical exam.

No, you don’t need to do medical for work permit application. It’s not mandatory.
