GCMS notes response is a huge hit n a miss right now, no guarantee's of when to expect a response. I applied on 25th Feb so am not expecting them anytime soon either. Here's some info that was given to me by @caipsnotes

https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/threads/all-about-gcms-how-to-order-read-general-questions-answered.482200/post-9235434

Nothing good but atleast it gives us an idea of what to expect.
@tar86

Assuming you requested GCMS from IRCC instead of CBSA?

Either government agency, IRCC, CBSA or CSIS can take 90 day extensions, they are not common though and when taken they are seen more with IRCC. The unfortunate part is that IRCC has categorized 3rd party GCMS providers into tiers when it comes to extensions. As a result some 3rd parties will usually get 90 days extensions while others receive 60 day extensions. IRCC should not do this (i.e. base decisions with regard to the identify of the requester) as it's not permitted under the Act, but IRCC has been doing so and continues to. These actions of IRCC were revealed in response to an ATIP request. More to come on this later.

In the email I received it says 90 days extension on top of the regular 30 day processing time. So, 120 days in total. It makes my deadline April 22nd. I just don't get it why we have to wait 4 months to get our notes. I ordered from getGCMS.
It happened the same for me as well. I think it makes no difference where you order them, this is all IRCC...
You are correct to state that it should make no difference where the GCMS notes are ordered from but the unfortunate reality presently is that it does matter. IRCC should not do this (i.e. base decisions with regard to the identify of the requester) as it's not permitted under the Act, but IRCC has been doing so and continues to. These actions of IRCC were revealed in response to an ATIP request.

Did you get the ghost update that changed the medical to "N/A you do not need a medical exam"?
I checked your signature and noticed your info sharing shows in progress. I ordered gcms notes and received in feb bt for me, it shows info sharing as System error. Do you have any idea what does "System error" mean?

yes, it was changed sometime last month to

Does it indicate something?
I think it means your medical has been sent for evaluation. My signature is based on old GCMS notes that I received in Oct 2020. Not sure what "system error" means for your case.

Thank you for the encouragement. Hope we all get COPR soon.
Medical exam expired on Feb 18. GU on March 4. Another GU on March 10: medical exam got extended.
Did the ghost updates about the medical exam come with an e-mail notification or did you need to log into your account to see the updates?

same boat.
wondering whether they will deal with the application for FSW Outland ever?
We can only wait and hope. On paper they seem to give a different picture of thousands of immigrants are invited to Canada, and the reality is far from truth. Though IRCC is better than most countries in the way applications are processed, they can be little more transparent on the actual timeline of applications despite the pandemic.

Greetings @caipsnotes
Your help is much appreciated

Let’s say that only my medicals will expire on 01/01/2021 (while security and criminality will remain valid).
The GCMS i ordered was generated on 25/10/2020 before my med expiration and it shows a “Final: Approved” status.

If I ordered a GCMS note after my medical expiry date and knowing that the officer hasn’t yet either extend my old one nor request a new one...what would be its “Final” status? Will it remain “Final: Approved”? Or it will be “Final: Blank” since my medicals are no longer valid and no further extension/remed decision was made yet?

Thanks a lot!!
